INTERNET WORKSHOP

Media Institution of Southern Africa (MISA)-Tanzania and VIKES Foundation today has launched a five days Internet workshop for editors and trainers

The facilitator of the workshop Peik Johansson said that the aims of the workshop are to enable the journalists’ fact finding, news monitoring, communication and publication.
He added that, using internet you can find global library, news rooms, phone directories, and TV and radio music.

Johansson, who is also a journalist training consultant, said that the workshop will run for five days consecutively from Monday to Friday.

The topics of today ware are introduction of the workshop and the participants and how internet has changed the societies and communication globally.

More than ten participants succeeded to attend to workshop and enjoyed it because it enables them to know much more about internet. Some of media presenters are from radio passion fm, radio one, radio Uhuru and radio times.

Others are Mwananchi newspaper, Uhuru newspaper, Nipashe newspaper, The Guardians, Majira newspaper, The Citizens, Habari Leo and daily news.
